JLL brings exclusive and unique Mayfair opportunity to market

IHIF, 7 March 2017 - Acting on behalf of Genting, JLL has been instructed on the sale of the Park Lane Mews Estate situated in one of London’s most luxurious neighbourhoods. This comprises the Park Lane Mews Hotel which has 72 guest rooms, a restaurant, bar and two meeting rooms, three mews houses on Stanhope Row and Market Mews and two freehold houses at 36 and 37 Hertford Street which are currently configured as 13 apartments adjoining the hotel to the south.

The site is situated less than 500 meters from both Hyde Park Corner and Green Park underground stations and central location offers unparalleled accessibility to major touristic attractions such as Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace, Harrods, Big Ben and the most exclusive retail strip in London.

The sale of the site is offered with the opportunity to redevelop the hotel along two potential scenarios. The creation of an upscale boutique hotel of 60 rooms and suites as well as 13 high-end serviced residences or the redevelopment of the site into a larger residential building.

Will Duffey, Executive Vice President in JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality team, commented: “Mayfair is one of London's most sought after and prestigious locations and this is a rare opportunity to acquire a hotel unencumbered by management or brand. Hotel development opportunities in Mayfair are rarely offered for sale. With no other competing projects on the market, this is a once-in a lifetime opportunity to secure a unique asset.”
