Glasgow, 11 February 2013 - A former schools site in a prime location has been brought to market as a redevelopment opportunity by Jones Lang LaSalle on behalf of Perth and Kinross Council.
The Cherrybank Schools site, on Glasgow Road, Perth, has been split into two lots of 0.61 acres and 0.18 acres and is offered for sale as individual lots, or preferably as a single plot.
The site, which benefits from access into an established residential area, is situated a mile to the west of the city centre.
The former school house, which is suitable for renovation, comprises a kitchen, dining room, lounge and bathroom at ground floor level and three bedrooms at first floor level.
The second, smaller portion of the site fronts onto Glasgow Road, one of Perth’s main arterial routes. Cherrybank School is a ten minute drive from Perth city centre and has excellent links to Scotland’s motorway network including the A9, M90 and A90. Ninety per cent of Scotland’s population can be reached in a 90-minute drive from the site, with Perth situated an hour from Edinburgh and Glasgow.
