GLASGOW, 15 October 2016 – A site suited to residential development has gone on sale in the popular commuter town of Barrhead. in Renfrewshire.

It is being brought to market by JLL, and sits to the north of two industrial sites which are also geared towards residential development.

Nina Stobie, director, JLL, said: "Barrhead continues to receive substantial investment, and with the town's strong transport links this particular site is ideally suited to residential development.

"We've already had a number of enquiries, so we expect interest to be extremely high now that it is officially on the market."

In addition, the new £29m Barrhead High School is currently under construction and due to complete in summer 2017.
