Jones Lang LaSalle appointed on leading North East Business Park

Newcastle, 15 March 2013 – Jones Lang LaSalle’s office agency team has been appointed as joint letting agent on Quorum, one of the UK’s leading business parks.

The one-million sqft office park in north Newcastle, is one of the largest speculative office developments in the UK outside central London and is currently home to occupiers including IBM, Tesco Bank, Convergys and Balfour Beatty.
Jones Lang LaSalle successfully won the instruction to market Quorum’s 300,000sqft of new Grade A office space alongside joint agent Knight Frank, following a competitive selection process.  Jones Lang LaSalle has one of the largest national office agency teams and has assembled a bespoke team to deal with Quorum including expertise from London and Edinburgh.  Their appointment follows the recent restructuring at Quorum with Arisaig now taking on the Asset Management role.
Jonathan Sykes, Lead Director of Jones Lang LaSalle’s Newcastle office commented: ‘Quorum is without a doubt a fantastic instruction and we are delighted with this news. The quality of the accommodation at Quorum together with the level of amenity is superb and complimented by the ability to offer very competitive financial packages. With a wide range of floor plates available, Quorum should be on the radar of any occupier looking for high specification floor plates regionally, nationally and internationally’.
Fergus Trim, Development Director at Quorum Business Park commented: “Jones Lang LaSalle are one of the largest players in the global inward investment market so I’m looking forward to working together to attract more corporate occupiers to the North East of England.’
