‘Property Needs You’ putting the sector on the LGBT map at the Pride in London Parade

Changing the Face of Property, the initiative to increase diversity and inclusion in the Property industry, will join the march for the first time

Walking under their 'Property Needs You' campaign banner, ten major real estate firms will be participating in this year's Pride in London Parade on Saturday 25 June.

Established in 2012, Changing the Face of Property is part of an industry wide diversity & inclusion initiative working to raise awareness of careers in the property industry and engage with a more diverse talent group.

he group, joined by Land Securities, will be marching alongside Freehold, Building Equality, InterEngineering and other industry colleagues to put property on the radar of the LGBT community which is under-represented across the sector. During the Pride march the group will walk past the Land Securities-owned Piccadilly Lights, which will have a special Pride takeover to celebrate the event.

Pam Duke, programme manager for  Changing the Face of Property, commented, "Our team will be marching to highlight that property is an industry open to all.  It's an exciting sector to work in and we need to make sure that it is representative of the clients we work with and the communities we serve.  Look out for us in our purple property needs you t-shirts.
