We need an ambitious government prepared to make tough decisions to deliver key projects, says JLL Cardiff

Chris Sutton of JLL responds following results of election for the National Assembly for Wales

CARDIFF, May 6th, 2016 - Following the results of the election for the National Assembly for Wales, Chris Sutton, head of property consultancy JLL’s Cardiff office, commented:

Chris Sutton“We need an ambitious government which is prepared to make tough decisions to deliver those key projects which will improve the business environment. Central to this will be the delivery of essential infrastructure, including the M4 Black Route, the Metro and a package of road and rail improvements for North Wales.”

Regional Growth

“Wales must build upon the significant work already undertaken in supporting regional growth with a fresh impetus to deliver coherent city regions as well as City Deals for Cardiff, Swansea and a Growth Deal for North Wales.”

A Property Strategy

“The attraction of Aston Martin, TVR, Raytheon, General Dynamics, Deloitte and other major inward investment projects illustrates how Wales can win when it competes on the international stage. However a coherent property strategy is now required to deliver new Grade A sites and buildings to support both our existing and emerging businesses.”
