Jones Lang LaSalle appoints Head of Development Management 

Appointment reinforces dedicated service offering for the Project and Development Services team


London, 18th October  2013 – Paul Welterveden has been appointed Head of Development Management at Jones Lang LaSalle. He will lead the newly created Development Management team for the Project and Development Services business along with two existing Directors from the firm. Generic Image LJR.jpg

Paul joins from Land Securities where he led on several large and complex central London mixed-use developments under a Development Project Director role. Prior to this he was an equity partner at EC Harris.

Joining Paul in the Development Management team will be current Jones Lang LaSalle Director, Steve Sanders, who has moved from his recent role in Project Management within the Project and Development Services team and Matt Connor,  a Director joining from Strategic Asset Management at Jones Lang LaSalle.

The Development Management team will be responsible for delivering services to both existing and new clients of Jones Lang LaSalle and will initially focus on identifying land or change of use/redevelopment office and residential opportunities, through to the technical and construction phase and delivery.
 
John Duckworth, Member of Jones Lang LaSalle’s UK Board, said: “Paul will play a very significant role in shaping and strengthening the Development Management service line for our wider Project and Development Services business. Key relationships will be critical across Jones Lang LaSalle’s Capital Markets, Agency and International Capital Group in terms of both major UK institutional and international investors looking to develop in the UK. The formal creation of this dedicated service line focused on Development Management will continue to strengthen the Project and Development Services business and I am confident  the team will deliver excellent results.”
