Aberdeen Asset Management appoints JLL for Albert Dock
Manchester, March 2016 – Property consultant JLL has been appointed to manage all commercial space at Liverpool's Albert Dock on behalf of Aberdeen Asset Management.
The 19th century dock comprises the largest collection of Grade I Listed buildings in the country and includes 400,000 sq ft of hotel, leisure, retail and office accommodation. In addition to the Tate Liverpool, occupiers at the UNESCO World Heritage Site include Holiday Inn, Premier Inn, The Beatles Story, Gusto, and Miller and Carter. As part of the contract, JLL is managing leases at Albert Dock and will establish an on-site presence for occupier enquiries.
JLL's building consultancy division has also been appointed to deliver a refurbishment contract for seven commercial units at the site. The contracts follow Aberdeen Asset Management's acquisition of the site earlier this year for circa £42.75 million.
