New price for Old Market Inn in Holsworthy ignites interest from potential buyers

HOLSWORTHY, February 4, 2016 – A price reduction is generating renewed interest in the Old Market Inn in Holsworthy, North West Devon.

Previously on the market at £450,000, the public house is now offered at a guide price of £399,950 and is being marketed by property consultancy JLL.

The detached property consists of an impressive building with open plan public bar and coffee lounge, separate restaurant and/or function room with beer garden and customer parking.

In addition there are three en suite letting bedrooms and a self-contained three-bedroom flat for the owners.

"This is arguably one of the best presented pubs I have seen in my commercial career," says Michael Easton, associate director at JLL in Exeter.

"There are some interesting initiatives taking place in and around Holsworthy, such as the new multi-million pound livestock market which has been given planning permission. This will certainly contribute to the town's growth and the pub's success.

"The current owners have completely transformed the venue and have created a very pleasant day and night time venue for the town. They continue to maintain its standards of food, drink and accommodation despite the ill health worries that is forcing the sale.

"For anyone looking to either enter the industry or take up the reins of a successful venue, we would recommend that they contact us about this opportunity."
