JLL Hires Top Valuation Expert for Scotland

Edinburgh, 3 December 2015 – Leading property consultancy JLL has appointed Eric Stevens as Head of its Valuation team in Edinburgh, reporting into lead director for Scotland, Alasdair Humphery.

With 14 years' industry experience, Eric joins JLL from Bilfinger GVA where he was Director in the Valuation Consultancy division, operating across their Glasgow and Edinburgh offices since 2001.

Eric has worked closely with the Scottish market's most prominent lenders, including Barclays, Santander, LBG, RBS and Clydesdale Bank across a range of property sectors and has extensive knowledge of Scotland's student housing sector having acted for a number of financers, operators and developers. 

Eric's experience also includes work with a number of public sector bodies, including Network Rail, where he has advised on a number of key national infrastructure projects.

Originally hailing from London and a graduate of the University of Aberdeen, Eric has lived and worked in Scotland for 25 years.

JLL's Scottish valuation team provides consultancy and valuation services to a range of clients on commercial assets in Scotland, as well as residential development opportunities. The Scottish department is regularly involved in specialised asset management and valuation projects involving hotels, student accommodation and retail units, and also works closely with JLL's valuation teams in London.

In Edinburgh, JLL has ambitions to grow its valuation team even further following the successful development of its operation in Glasgow.

JLL now employs over 120 staff across Scotland, acting on some of the largest and most prestigious projects in the country and advising developers, investors and occupiers in all major property markets.
