Top-quality transformation for JLL's Glasgow HQ

Project puts clients at the heart of office

GLASGOW26 November 2015 – JLL has unveiled its newly-refurbished Glasgow office, which has undergone a significant transformation to become a state-of-the-art working space suitable for staff and clients alike.

Central to the high-quality showpiece office at 150 St Vincent Street is the collaboration zone, an informal space for in-house meetings, functions and interaction between departments.

This area is home to a number of project rooms, individual pods which are intended for staff looking for a quiet space to work.

Mike Buchan, lead director at JLL in Glasgow, said: "We wanted to create new office space which would not only boost staff productivity but also appeal to clients looking for a collaborative environment in which to work.

"Our clients are central to our business, so it made perfect sense to integrate them into the design of our office and ensure they feel at home when they visit 150 St Vincent Street. This reflects what JLL is doing across the globe and we're thrilled that the work is now complete."

Clients have a dedicated coffee area in the new office as well as full use of facilities including access to WiFi and ability to print documents.

In addition to the collaboration zone, the rest of the office, including a striking reception and conference rooms has undergone a similarly major renovation. Seating booths have been installed for client meetings while several formal meeting rooms have also been upgraded.

Simon Malone, director, Building Consultancy, said: "Our aim was to create a modern working space which reflected modern working practices, and I'm sure both staff and clients will agree we've met that ambition. Quality was key throughout the project and we feel the end result is a fantastic showcase for JLL in Scotland."

The fit-out and design of 150 St Vincent Street was carried out by Tetris.
