JLL Strengthens Scottish Business with Fresh Graduate Intake

Property giant adds talented Graduates to teams in Glasgow and Edinburgh

Edinburgh, 29 October 2015 – JLL has strengthened its teams in Glasgow and Edinburgh, recruiting three new graduate surveyors, underlining its commitment to developing the next generation of property professionals in an improving market.

University of Glasgow graduate Conor Doherty joins JLL's Residential Land team in Glasgow, while fellow Msc Real Estate graduate Alastair Strang begins his JLL career within Edinburgh's Property Asset Management team.

Jan Dunsire, who joins JLL after studying Urban Planning and Property Development at Heriot-Watt University, is the latest graduate surveyor to be appointed to the Office Agency team in Edinburgh.

The 3 new starts bring the total number of staff based in Scotland to over 120.
The appointments come off the back of JLL's Graduate Recruitment Campaign being commended in the 2015 Property Marketing Awards for raising the profile of property to those who wouldn't necessarily have had the sector on their career radar.

Alasdair Humphery, Lead Director at Jones Lang LaSalle in Scotland, said: "We're thrilled to welcome three exceptional graduates to our teams across Scotland where they will be working across a range of specialisms and developing their own career paths. As a business it's vitally important that we continually tap into the impressive pool of talent being produced by our universities which is why we've consistently placed value in recruiting graduates. It's always refreshing to welcome graduates into JLL, bringing with them not only a sense of ambition and enthusiasm, but also a fresh perspective which is imperative to our continued success as a business."
