Holsworthy pub is put up for sale for £450,000

Leading property consultancy JLL appointed to market the Old Market Inn

Exeter, October 8, 2015 - The Old Market Inn in Holsworthy, North West Devon, has gone on the market at a guide price of £450,000.

Property consultancy JLL's hotels and hospitality team in Exeter has been appointed to market this impressive building with an open plan public bar and coffee lounge, separate restaurant and/or function room with a beer garden and customer parking.

In addition, there are three en-suite letting bedrooms and a self-contained three-bedroom flat for the owners. The building is detached and serves the popular market town of Holsworthy in North West Devon.

Michael Easton, associate director at JLL, Exeter, said the freehold pub was arguably one of the best-presented pubs he has seen in his commercial career.

He said: "Our clients have completely transformed the venue during their ownership and have created a very pleasant day-time and night-time venue for the town. They continue to maintain high standards of cleanliness and professional service despite pressures relating to ill health, which have led to the sale of the property."

"For anyone looking to either enter the industry or those looking to take up the reins of an already successful venue, we would recommend that they contact us about this business."
