JLL shortlisted for prestigious award for innovative graduate campaign

Hoping for a second year of success in the Property Marketing Awards


​JLL has been shortlisted for the award for best corporate marketing campaign in the 2015 Property Marketing Awards for a new graduate recruitment campaign. In 2014 the firm picked up the gong for best campaign for the 'New performance of property'  initiative, developed to raise the importance and profile of property to business and c-suite audiences.

The campaign, entitled 'A Place with Potential,' was devised to widen the recruitment talent pool and communicate the relevance and importance of the property industry to wider communities and the economy.  It encompassed a competition in which entrants sent pictures via Facebook and Twitter of buildings and spaces around them with ideas about what they could be transformed into.

The winner of the competition was fast-tracked through the initial test centre phase and directly to first interview. The firm also launched a new graduate twitter handle, attended 22 career fairs and created a new video promoting the different career options and jobs within the property industry.  You can find out more about the campaign here.

Lydia Corneck, Head of UK HR at JLL commented: " The 'A place with potential' campaign perfectly captures the relevance of the industry to the world around us and reached out to graduates who wouldn't otherwise have the sector on their career radar. The property industry has a collective responsibility  to ensure that more of UK society takes a share in economic growth by widening the talent pool from which we recruit. From a business perspective nobody wants to miss out on potential new talent simply because they are not aware of the benefits of a career in property."    

The winners will be announced on the 25th June.
