BrewDog is Latest Signing for Queen’s XI

Drinks firm among new occupiers at central Glasgow office location

GLASGOW, 27 April 2015 – Scottish craft beer company BrewDog has signed up to Glasgow’s Queen’s House, the eleventh letting at the building in 12 months.
The Aberdeen-based brewer has signed a five year lease with landlord Picton at the St Vincent Street location while The Stand, Digital Connections, FPSG and Brightree have also moved in.
The new occupiers join Layer Systems, Woods Associate Surveyors, Intelligent Office, TNEI and The Napiershall Formula in the newly-refurbished building, where rents have recently been achieved up to £14 psf.

Laurence Jones, senior asset manager at Picton, commented: “To achieve circa 95% occupancy in a 32 suite office building is a tremendous achievement and testament to the high quality and variety of space we have on offer.”

Colin McGhee, JLL, said: “This time last year the occupancy level at Queen’s House was just 60 per cent. Now, there is just one 1,300 sq. ft. suite remaining.

“The landlord has made a significant investment into the common areas and the office suites within Queen’s House, and that refurbishment has clearly struck a chord with businesses.”
Buchanan Street subway station is located seconds from Queen’s House, while Glasgow Central and Queen Street train stations are within a short walking distance.

The building is also situated in close proximity to Buchanan Galleries and St Enoch Centre, two of the main fixtures in Glasgow’s shopping district.

Popular restaurant Urban Bar & Brasserie is also situated on the ground floor of the Grade A listed building.

JLL and Ryden are acting as joint agents on behalf of Picton Capital Limited.
