Addleshaw Goddard signs for new home in the heart of Leeds

Law firm Addleshaw Goddard (AG), advised by JLL, is to become the latest firm to move to the high profile 3 Sovereign Square development in Leeds.

AG, who has signed a 17 and a half year lease, will take three of the five floors within the 93,240 sq ft Grade A building and will relocate its 400 Leeds-based staff from Sovereign House to the nearby city centre development in late 2016.

Tim Wheldon, head of AG's Leeds office, said; "Our current building has served us well but the move to 3 Sovereign Square offers us the opportunity to plan for the requirements of our business, clients and people for the next 17 years. The space at 3 Sovereign Square is excellently well suited to our needs."

Situated across the road from AG's current office, 3 Sovereign Square will allow the firm to remain at the heart of the local business community whilst providing a better experience for clients' and its staff.

Caroline Pacey from JLL added: "The move to Sovereign Square fits our clients' requirements perfectly. In addition, the deal is also a wider indicator of the upturn in business and confidence in the city, following a strong finish to letting activity in 2014."
