​Firegroup Expands into Newly Refurbished Premises in Edinburgh

​EDINBURGH, 06 March 2015 – Firegroup Ltd, the Edinburgh-based fireplace specialist, is set to expand its showroom into new premises at 14/16 Stenhouse Mill Wynd following extensive refurbishment.

The firm has signed a four year lease agreement for the 6,556 sq. ft. end of terrace industrial unit with landlord Aviva Staff Pension Fund. The rent was agreed at a rate close to the asking price of £45,000 per annum.

Established in Edinburgh for over 20 years, Firegroup is host to Scotland’s largest fireplace showroom. The firm also offers timber and stone manufacturing and design and installation services for fireplaces, as well as for stoves and other accessories.

In an accessible location to the west of Edinburgh city centre, Stenhouse Mill Wynd is sited just off the A71. Following refurbishment by Aviva, unit 14/16 offers a prominent corner unit at the entrance to the estate, with well-presented warehouse and office/showroom areas. Other occupiers on the same road include City Plumbing Supplies, Rexel and Solaglass.

JLL acted on behalf of Aviva Staff Pension Fund, Firegroup Ltd were unrepresented.

Unit 21, comprising 7,561 sq. ft. is the last available unit at the estate and is ready for immediate occupation with more details available from JLL.
