Birmingham, 10 November 2014 - High quality, specialist property developer, Sibson Mill Properties represented by joint agents JLL and Peter J Hicks & Co, has let offices at two of its prestigious Tamworth office developments – both to renowned German companies.

The headquarters office building at 2 Centurion Court has been let to leading global discount supermarket chain, Aldi Stores Ltd, while the ground floor of High Point, in Sandy Hill Business Park has been taken by Mercedes Benz Retail Group UK Ltd.

Tom Smith of Sibson Mill welcomed the news: “These lettings are testament to the exceptional quality and location of our developments. Both Centurion Court and Sandy Hill are within easy reach of the M42 and wider motorway network, while Tamworth town centre is also very convenient. These are premium properties that attract leading organisations and we are very pleased to welcome both Aldi and Mercedes Benz to Tamworth.”

Recently refurbished to the highest standards, 2 Centurion Court offers 21,416 sq ft of contemporary, open plan office space to Grade A specification with good access to a range of amenities. An ideal headquarters building, the accommodation benefits from a double height reception area with a feature atrium, all set within beautiful, fully landscaped grounds. The building also lies directly adjacent to junction 10 of the M42 and has the advantage of 89 integral car parking spaces.

Discount retailer Aldi is expanding in the UK and expects to open a further 54 stores this year – creating around 7,000 new jobs.
Joint agents on the letting were Peter Hicks of Peter J Hicks & Co and Jonathan Carmalt of JLL.  Peter Hicks said: “2 Centurion Court is a superbly located and equipped Headquarters Office Building that will provide ideal accommodation for Aldi who have taken the entire building. This letting highlights the considerable benefits of Tamworth as a business destination.”

Aldi Stores Ltd, represented by Steven Harris of Harris Keane, has signed a 4-year lease on Centurion Court.

Also in Tamworth, Mercedes Benz Retail Group Ltd have taken the major part of the ground floor of High Point in Sandy Hill Business Park. Only 5 minutes from J10 of the M42, this high quality suite offers 3,313 sq ft of office space in a landscaped setting surrounded by open countryside adjoining a golf course.

The accommodation benefits from a full specification including air conditioning, raised floors, suspended ceilings and high quality fittings and finishings. Jonathan Carmalt of JLL said: “High Point offers superb office accommodation with dedicated parking spaces, an outside amenity area, CCTV and all the usual facilities you would expect to find in superior premises such as this. Sibson Mill is renowned for the exceptional quality of their builds and fit-outs and I’m certain that Mercedes Benz will find High Point an attractive and productive home for their business.”
