JLL expands Cardiff team

Appointment of three new members of staff reflects region’s growing property market

CARDIFF, 29 October 2014 – Leading property consultancy JLL is boosting its Cardiff team with the arrival of three new members of staff, reflecting the continuing rise in the region’s economy and property market.

Stuart Munro has joined JLL’s Cardiff office as the new valuation director alongside two new graduate surveyors, Harriet Costello and Jennie Howells, further strengthening the team under the JLL Graduate Programme.

Stuart Munro has over 25 years’ experience in the South Wales commercial property market, working on a number of high profile consultancy projects. Stuart began his career at the Welsh Development Agency.

Harriet Costello graduated from Oxford Brookes University earlier this year with a degree in Estate Management and has undergone work experience and placements for a number of national and international property consultancies including JLL.

Also joining under JLL’s Graduate Recruitment Programme is Jennie Howells, who graduated in Property Management and Investment at the University of West of England and has worked in private practice in South Wales.

Chris Sutton, lead director at JLL in Cardiff, said: “There is a strong sense of positivity and growth in Cardiff and South Wales following a challenging few years. As the economic recovery gathers pace and momentum I’m pleased that JLL is able to expand our team to meet demand and drive activity forward.

“Stuart Munro brings extensive knowledge and experience to his role, not only in commercial property market but in this region, which we are proud of and passionate about. Harriett and Jennie have also developed considerable knowledge and experience in the sector both during and since their university degrees.”
