Two new appointments at JLL

Manchester office hires new recruits to support ongoing growth

Manchester, 7th October, 2014 - The Manchester office of JLL has recruited two new consultants, increasing the size of its specialist teams in the North West.

Martin McGowan joins the Building Consultancy team as a surveyor. Martin has five years’ experience and joins from Dunlop Heywood where he acted as a project manager for clients including Speedy Hire.

Peter Lees, Head of Building Consultancy, said: “We are delighted that Martin has joined our already very strong team. We are actively looking to recruit even more of the best talent in the market as part of an ambitious growth strategy, leveraging off our ongoing successes in the office, residential and out of town retail markets”.

In addition, the Valuation Advisory team has appointed graduate Robert Kos to support the JLL’s valuation work for investors, developers and banks across the North West. Robert graduated from Sheffield Hallam in 2013 and has spent the past year in an asset management role at Smith Young, where his clients included British Land.

Tim Luckman, Head of Valuation Advisory, said: “Robert joins us during a key period for the team. JLL’s Manchester valuation team has advised on the majority of large transactions in the North West over the last twelve months. Given the increased activity in Manchester shows no sign of plateauing in the foreseeable future, we’re continuing to search for new talent.”
