JLL lets 100,000 sq ft shed in Warrington

Manchester, 23rd September, 2014 – The industrial and logistics team at property consultant JLL has successfully let a 101,596 sq ft warehouse on Chesford Grange in Warrington on behalf of Alpha Real Capital.

Crest Medical Ltd, a storage and distribution business specialising in medical supplies, has taken a 10.5 year lease without break for an undisclosed rent. The business will relocate its headquarters to the site from across the road, doubling its space.

The unit, located one mile south of the M62, includes nearly 10,000 sq ft of office space over two storeys and over 110 car parking spaces.

The letting is the third deal on sheds over 100,000 sq ft for the team at JLL in as many months, following deals with Ritrama UK at Tameside Industrial Park and Tiger Trailers at Winsford Industrial Estate.

Mark Sillitoe, industrial & logistics director at JLL in Manchester, said: "This is one of the largest North West industrial deals of the year so far and is a sign of Warrington's strength at the heart of the motorway network.

"The increasing lack of supply of good quality, well located units of c.100,000 sq ft, combined with the strengthening occupier market, means that there's little doubt that we'll see a series of announcements regarding speculative development across the North West, before the year is out."
