New lease is the perfect tonic for health organisation

Salus agrees five year terms at Argyle Street property, creating 35 jobs

Glasgow, 28 May 2013 - Jones Lang LaSalle, acting on behalf of Telereal Trillium, has agreed a deal on space formerly occupied by Jobcentre Plus at The Bridge, 345 Argyle Street.

Salus, the occupational health, safety and return to work division of NHS Lanarkshire, will lease 12,000 sq ft in the building until 2018 in a move which will create 35 new jobs in the city.

The organisation will perform benefits evaluations at the ground floor and mezzanine of the property, which is leased at a rate of £185,000 per annum.

Colin McGhee, at Jones Lang LaSalle, said: “Salus was looking for a new adaptable, flexible space in the heart of Glasgow city centre as their business expanded.

“The Bridge building offered a large space, with an ideal floorplate for the individual treatment rooms and large waiting area Salus will need. The building is ideally located on a busy bus route and within a five minute walk of Glasgow Central Station, meaning it is easily accessible for clients.”

Mark Kennedy, general manager of Salus, added: “We were looking for a central location which would be easily accessible by our clients, and are delighted to have secured the lease on these premises.”
