JLL’s Head of South East Office Agency comments on proposals to extend Crossrail to Hertfordshire

LONDON, 7 August 2014 - James Finnis, head of South East office agency at JLL said: “It is pleasing to hear that the government is considering a further extension to Crossrail to enhance connectivity across Hertfordshire. The extension could have a transformational impact, helping to reduce journey times and ease overcrowding, improving connection into Central London, and widening the catchment for skilled labour.

“It also has the potential to open up significant development opportunities across the region and enhance the appeal of the markets such as Harrow and Watford for occupiers looking for alternative options given rising costs in Central London.”
