JLL’s Planning and Development team have been involved in a number of high-profile schemes in the past 12 months, including the disposals of the 200-acre former Shell site at Carrington and AstraZeneca’s Alderley Park, and planning permissions for a series of new Aldi stores and the new city centre Travelodge in Piccadilly Gardens.

In addition, there were promotions for Tom Powell, from the Out of Town Retail and Leisure team, who becomes a Local Director; Alistair Greenhalgh, now a Senior Vice President in the Hotels and Hospitality Group; and Lucy Davies, Senior Surveyor for Property and Asset Management.

Lastly, Jessica Spears has been promoted to Property Manager in the Retail Management team.

Commenting on the promotions, David Lathwood, head of JLL in the North West, said: “Our firm is the biggest in Manchester and this latest round of promotions confirms that we are helping to develop some of the best talent in the North West.

“We’re in the enviable position of being able to draw upon experts from across a wide range of disciplines who are based in the region and have a native understanding of the local market. This means we can field strong teams of on-the-ground specialists rather than having to call in consultants from elsewhere in our network.
“It’s been another strong year of growth for our business in the North West and so we’re in a position to make a substantial number of promotions once again. We’re also looking to strengthen several of our teams by bringing in new talent.”
