New management opportunity at fully-let office building

Hamilton property is welcome addition to Jones Lang LaSalle portfolio

Glasgow, 30 May 2013 – Jones Lang LaSalle has been appointed to manage Kilpatrick House in Hamilton International Technology Park, on behalf of Caudwell Properties Ltd.

The three-storey, 40,000 sq ft office building is currently fully let to AWG Group Ltd.

Alastair McCall, Senior Surveyor at Jones Lang LaSalle, said: “We are delighted to take up the opportunity to manage Kilpatrick House in Hamilton International Technology Park on behalf of Caudwell Properties.”

Hamilton International Park extends to some 116 acres and currently provides 400,000 sq ft of flexible Grade A accommodation. The park benefits from on-site retail facilities and good access to public transport in Hamilton and Blantyre, as well as the M74, M73 and M8 motorways via the A725 dual carriageway.

ScottishPower opened a new 80,000 sq ft office complex, named Ochil House, at the location earlier last month, and intend to base up to 900 staff there.

Other existing occupiers include HSBC First Direct and John Lewis Partnership contact centres as well as engineering business Babcock and multinational facilities management and construction services company Carillion.
