No 1 City Square offices to mark Grand Départ with yellow makeover

Leeds, 2 July 2014 – An iconic Leeds city centre office building, No 1 City Square, is being lit yellow each evening to mark the arrival of the Tour de France in Yorkshire.
The one off illumination sees the 12 storey landmark office building, home to businesses including Deloitte LLP and Citibase, surrounded in a yellow glow each evening.
Reception staff working in the building, which overlooks City Square and is owned by Aviva Investors, have also been kitted out in yellow ties to continue the theme.

Joanne Willis, from property consultants JLL and Facilities Manager at No 1 City Square, said: “We are all excited about the arrival of the Tour De France this weekend and wanted to do something to celebrate. It seemed a great idea to light up one of the city centre’s most prominent offices to mark the event.”
