Former car park to be transformed into 111 homes close to Wembley Stadium

Jones Lang LaSalle secures planning permission for Network Housing Group

London,  3rd June, 2013 - Jones Lang LaSalle, acting on behalf of Network Housing Group (NHG),  a registered provider of affordable housing, has been granted planning permission by the London Borough of Brent for an innovative housing scheme comprising of 111 new homes.

The site on Brook Avenue was formerly an underused  pay-and-display car park. The new scheme which is close to the iconic Wembley Stadium in London and benefits from excellent public transport links, will transform a site that is blighted by litter and fly-tipping into an attractive residential scheme. The development will comprise of four residential blocks of flats – 3 x 8-storey and 1 x 5-storey and 2 x 3 -storey houses all situated within an attractive woodland setting.

Fifty per cent of the new homes will be affordable contributing towards the borough’s housing delivery targets. All homes will meet or exceed London Plan space standards and feature either attractive balconies or garden terraces. All homes will meet Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4; will be Lifetime Homes compliant; and 10% will be wheelchair adaptable.
