JLL appoints Michael Davis to lead business unit dedicated to London’s emerging markets

London, 24 June, 2014 – JLL has appointed Michael Davis to lead a business unit which will focus on London’s emerging markets, in particular the growing north, east and south-west areas.

Michael, who joins from Cushman and Wakefield, will use his extensive experience of these growing markets and also the TMT, leisure and creative sectors to provide investor and occupier clients with strategic real estate advice.
Guy Grainger, UK CEO at JLL said: “In the next ten years London’s landscape will have changed significantly, as developers identify opportunities outside the ‘core’ areas and create new, mixed-use destinations which cater to a growing talent pool and demand from businesses. A combination of Crossrail and the hunt for value in London is opening up new desirable locations across the capital and Michael will be part of a multi-disciplined team covering office, residential and leisure to ensure we are at the forefront of place-making.”
Neil Prime, Head of UK Office Agency at JLL said: “I’m delighted to be welcoming Michael to the team at what is proving to be an exciting time in terms of growth of both our business and the Central London market as a whole. London is rapidly changing and traditional office markets are expanding at a rapid pace and we’re looking forward to playing a part in this while offering our clients a best in class service.”

Michael Davis said: “I’m excited to be leading such a forward-thinking initiative and joining a company that is truly innovating in the way that they do business. As London continues to grow, there is a wonderful opportunity for our clients in these new districts.”
