Management team to oversee Grade II Listed city centre building
Manchester, 12th June, 2014 – JLL has been appointed to manage the 199,000 sq ft Sunlight House building on Quay Street, Manchester city centre on behalf of Scottish Widows Investment Partnership Property Trust (SWIPPT).
SWIPPT took ownership of the Grade II Listed building from Aviva's APIA Regional Office Fund in January. The consultant will manage tenants and leases at the property which currently has 20 occupiers in a range of office suites including the Crown Prosecution Service, St. James's Place Wealth Management and investment management firm Charles Stanley.
JLL manages all UK properties owned by SWIPPT, including 101 Barbirolli Square in Manchester as well as assets across all other SWIP funds.
Heather Morrey, director at JLL with responsibility for the North West Property and Asset Management business, said: “Sunlight House is another prestigious appointment for the team. The striking building will be added to our growing North West portfolio of trophy office buildings which includes India Buildings in Liverpool, and Chancery Place, 2 Hardman Street and 4 Hardman Square in Manchester.
