JLL appoints director to new Loan Valuation service line

London, 10th June, 2014 – JLL has appointed Paul Hodge as director of Loan Valuation, a new service line at JLL which provides debt instrument valuations secured against real estate assets.
Paul joins from CBRE where he was associate director in the Real Estate Finance team and was responsible for the development of the loan valuation business. His experience includes working on both principal capital and advisory side transactions across the debt restructuring and debt origination space.
At JLL, Paul will head up an experienced team focused on the valuation of European real estate loans to ensure compliance with regulations and support client growth.
Andrew Renshaw, head of Valuation at JLL, said: “The Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD) is being implemented across Europe with the impact of this directive increasingly felt within the real estate market.  With Paul’s experience and direction, the new JLL Loan Valuation service line will provide accurate and reliable valuations based on current transactional data demonstrating complete transparency to meet AIFMD requirements. We are pleased that Paul has joined us to drive this service forward – his knowledge of the market and track record in delivering complex assignments will be invaluable.”
