Second senior appointment boosts JLL’s Southampton team

Two appointments within a month demonstrates increased confidence in property market

SOUTHAMPTON, 05 JUNE 2014 – Leading property consultancy JLL is further strengthening its Southampton team with the appointment of a second senior member of staff within a month.
David McGougan, who is currently the chairman of the Southampton Property Association, joins JLL as director, industrial and logistics agency, following a three year post at a local practice, prior to which he spent six years at Lambert Smith Hampton.
David has ten years of commercial property experience and has worked primarily across the south coast in lettings and sales, as well as buying and selling investments and facilitate development schemes for clients such as Legal & General, SEGRO, F&C REIT and LaSalle Asset Management.
David’s appointment to JLL will see him working with clients such as IPIF (Industrial Pension Investment Fund), Oceanic Estates, owners of Marchwood Industrial Estate in Southampton, construction and property firm Kier, and several institutional clients.

David, who has spent most of his career in Southampton, added: “JLL has a fantastic reputation both in the local market and globally, and I am excited at the prospect of cementing the team’s current position, as well as building on its existing knowledge and expertise. ​
