JLL in Scotland scoops property gong at inaugural awards

Edinburgh, 28 February 2014 – JLL in Scotland received the accolade of Property Advisory Team of the Year at last night’s inaugural Scottish Property Awards, held in in Edinburgh’s Sheraton Grand Hotel.

The firm’s Scotland team, with offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow, beat off strong competition to land top honours in the Property Adviser category.

The judging panel, composed of a panel of experts from across Scotland’s property, applauded the firm’s detailed submission which showcased a highly motivated team.

Chair of the Judging Panel, Lynne McNicoll, Director of Fundraising at east of Scotland charity, It’s Good 2 Give, said: “This category was incredibly tough but the judges agreed that Jones Lang LaSalle had carried out some important strategic changes while also evidencing notable increases in the volume of business.  Congratulations to Jones Lang LaSalle, a truly well-deserved award.”

The JLL team celebrated a number of key achievements throughout 2013, including its appointment as managers of Edinburgh’s 202,000 sq. ft. Atria 1 and 2 – the largest speculative office development to complete in 2013, the sale of over £20m of residential development opportunities in Scotland, and the completion of one of the largest lettings in Edinburgh in the last nine years totalling 83,000 sq. ft..
