JLL announces sponsorship of twice Olympic gold medalist Geraint Thomas

Global property firm enters three year agreement with professional road and track cyclist


LONDON, 21 March 2014 Global property consultants JLL has today announced it is has entered into a three year sponsorship agreement with professional road and track cyclist and twice Olympic Gold Medalist Geraint Thomas. 
 
Following glory on the track at both Beijing and London 2012 in the Team Pursuit, Geraint has turned his full attention to the road, where he currently rides for Team Sky. A time trial specialist and an exciting all-rounder, 'G' has been part of the Tour de France winning performances for two consecutive years.

“With a passion for the Spring Classic races, Geraint did fantastically well at Paris Nice, wearing the race leader’s yellow jersey for two days, and will be racing in Milan San Remo this coming weekend.  We wish him the best of luck on Sunday and of course for the season ahead.”

Geraint joins a distinguished group of JLL’s current sponsored athletes:  London 2012 bronze medalist sculler Alan Campbell; former World Champion triathlete Helen Jenkins and Paralympic table tennis player Will Bayley, who won silver and bronze at London 2012.​
