The established industrial site lies immediately adjacent to the A7, with the A68 to the east, and links with a number of major A roads in the west. Other occupiers on the estate include Cosmo Products, Insitu Fabrications, Dresser and Wayne and City Circle.

Jones Lang LaSalle acted on behalf of Ferno Properties Ltd. Story Contracting Ltd was represented by Carigiet Cowan.

Opening the site at Butlerfield is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our plant and rail divisions, who have worked tirelessly to get us to the point where opening new sites is a possibility.“

With this new base in Edinburgh, alongside Carlisle and Normanton in North Yorkshire, we are capable of providing the reliable, efficient, quality service our customers have come to expect, while simultaneously expanding our geographic reach and the quality of our plant fleet.

Janey Douglas, Graduate Surveyor, Industrial Agency, for Jones Lang LaSalle, commented: “Butlerfield Industrial Estate will no doubt prove an ideal base for Story Contracting as the firm seeks to expand its operations in Edinburgh. The estate ticks all the right boxes for companies operating in Scotland’s capital, with high quality accommodation and excellent road links to the north, east, south and west.”
