Jones Lang LaSalle helps to revamp Sick Kids Friends Foundation HQ

Edinburgh, 17 April 2009 – Jones Lang LaSalle has been helping the Sick Kids Friends Foundation to spruce up its Edinburgh office headquarters at Millerfield Place.
A team of six staff from the firm’s Edinburgh office took up the painting challenge at the charity.

Ben Reed, director at Jones Lang LaSalle, was part of the painting team. He said: “We were delighted to be able to help the charity. The Foundation provides such an important service for the children and families at the Sick Kids hospital and we hope that our efforts have helped to enhance the working environment for the team. Employees at our Edinburgh office have been keen to volunteer their time to projects such as this – it’s great to be able to make a difference.

“We often have children and families from the hospital coming here to visit us as well as many supporters and corporate donors. How our office looks should reflect our professionalism to these important visitors” said Maureen Harrison chief executive of the charity. “Now, thanks to Jones Lang LaSalle working their magic, it does just that. We are so grateful to them for coming along and giving up so much of their time to provide a suitable environment for our vital work. They did a fantastic job even replicating our famous red stripes on one wall!”

The Jones Lang LaSalle team included Rona Fuller, Lyndsay Simm, Claire Purves, David Durie, Craig Watson and Ben Reed.
