Jones Lang LaSalle creates new combined Markets Group for England

London, 19th May 2009 - Jones Lang LaSalle today announced the reorganisation of its English agency and investment teams into a new combined Markets Group, with the aim of further enhancing client service through the full development, investment and leasing cycle.

The move formalises the day-to-day operational reality which has seen these teams working evermore closely together, reflecting changing client demand which is moving towards a preference for a more comprehensive integrated solution.
Neil Prime, currently Head of Office Agency for England, will take on the role of Head of the firm’s new English Markets Group.  Julian Stocks, presently head of England Capital Markets, will take on a role as Managing Director – Markets, reporting to Neil.  Both will dedicate the substantial majority of their time to client work.

In Central London, the reorganisation – which takes immediate effect – brings into being a City Markets unit, based in the firm’s Gresham Street office, along with a West End Markets unit operating out of the Hanover Square office. A National Markets unit, also based out of Hanover Square, will encompass teams in the firm’s Birmingham, Heathrow, Leeds and Manchester offices. Retail investment, out-of-town retail, auctions, residential, industrial, lease advisory and investment advisory will continue to operate as stand-alone units within the overall Markets group.

Jones Lang LaSalle’s English business comprises four main business groups: Markets, Professional & Advisory, Management Services and Retail. The new combined Markets Group in England will also work closely with existing agency and investment teams in the firm’s Scottish business, although Scotland is not covered by today’s reorganisation announcement. The firm also provides a range of pan-European and global services from its London offices.
