Virtus purchase North London Data Centre

London, 6th July 2009 - On behalf of Virtus Data Centres, part of the Obsidian Group, Jones Lang LaSalle has completed the purchase of Unit 3, Crown Road in Enfield for use as a Data Centre
Commenting on the purchase, Charlie Carden of Jones Lang LaSalle’s Data Centre Advisory Group, said: “We are delighted that we have been able to identify and secure this opportunity on behalf of Virtus, whose commitment to capital investment in the area only goes to reinforce north London as a strategic location for Data Centre occupiers.”
Once developed, the facility will provide 25,000 sq ft of net technical space designed to meet Tier 3 Data Centre criteria with 8 MVA of secure power and the option for customers to acquire their own dedicated hall or a number of racks within a shared hall. The facility will go live in Q1 2010.
