Jones Lang LaSalle team member abseils The Blade for charity



London, 13th July 2009 - On Sunday 14th July 2009, Marie Emmett, site facilities manager at The Blade abseiled the 14-storey building for charity, Children with Leukaemia.
 
The Blade, which is managed by Jones Lang LaSalle, is Reading’s newest and tallest office building and at 390 sq ft is the equivalent height to 32 double-decker buses.
 
Guy Parkes, Jones Lang LaSalle’s director and head of the Western Corridor Region said: “We are very proud of Marie and congratulate her on her charity endeavour. The views must have been amazing up there!”
