London, 8th September 2009 – Jones Lang LaSalle announced today that Andrew Hynard is to become Chairman of its English business, following John Stephen’s retirement at the end of October 2009.
Commenting on the appointment, Andrew Gould, Chief Executive of the English Business, said: “I am delighted that Andrew will succeed John as Chairman of the English Business. Andrew has proved himself to be one of our most outstanding leaders and has terrific relationships with clients and a very good profile in the investment market. Having worked closely with him I know that he is completely committed to our business, people, clients and values.”
Andrew Hynard joined the firm in 1984 and has been an International Director since 2002. He successfully established Jones Lang LaSalle’s Retail Investment team, which is now number one in the UK market. He subsequently was Lead Director of the Capital Markets Group for five years and a member of the English Management Committee. More recently Andrew has been responsible for growing Jones Lang LaSalle’s Value Recovery Services business, and over the past year he has been Chairman of the Investment Property Forum.

I will also continue with my day to day work in capital markets and value recovery services."
