DHL chooses Bracknell

The second largest letting deal in the Thames Valley this year

London 16th October 2009 -International Logistics Company, DHL, has today signed a new 45,000 sq ft, five year lease at Ocean House in Bracknell.

Bracknell Regeneration Partnership was delighted to secure the deal, negotiating a headline rent of £15.25 per sq foot and representing one of the largest lettings in the Thames Valley this year.

Roger Mann, Senior Vice President of DHL Real Estate UK, commented: “Bracknell is an ideal location for our head office, being at the heart of the M3, M4, M40 motorways and close to the main southern airports.”

Guy Parkes, head of Jones Lang LaSalle’s Western Corridor office, who advised the Bracknell Regeneration Partnership added: “DHL’s commitment to Bracknell further consolidates the town’s position as the western corridor’s headquarters of blue chip organisations.”
