Jones Lang LaSalle’s Laurence Johnstone appointed as Master of the Chartered Surveyors Livery Company

Laurence Johnstone, director in Jones Lang LaSalle’s National Tenant Representation team has been appointed as Master of the Chartered Surveyors Livery Company. 

Laurence will undertake the role of Master for one year, during which time he will be one of the property world’s senior figures representing the Livery Company at numerous events as well as initiating a programme of charitable events and promoting the Company in the City and the wider business and professional world.

Laurence has been involved in a variety of property and charitable bodies during his career and is a long standing member of the Chartered Surveyors’ Livery Company having been admitted in 1999 and elected to Court in 2000. 
Commenting on his appointment Laurence said: “To have been chosen as Master of the Livery Company is an incredible honour as well as a privilege.  The position carries considerable responsibilities that I am sure will bring unexpected challenges during the course of the year.  I have huge enthusiasm for the work of the Company and look forward to my tenure with much excitement.”

The Livery Company sponsors a number of central London schools, as well as supporting the Chartered Surveyors Training Trust which helps students to train as property professionals.   For further information please log onto
