Jones Lang LaSalle helps plan new hotel for London’s ExCeL

Jones Lang LaSalle’s Planning team has received planning permission for the detailed design of a new hotel at ExCeL London, the international exhibition and conference centre.  The hotel will be nine storeys high and comprise 252 guest rooms.  The scheme was designed by award winning architects Jestico and Whiles.  Work on site will begin early in the New Year with completion due at the start of 2012.
Commenting on the ExCeL project, Jeff Field, chairman of Jones Lang LaSalle’s Planning team said: “The new hotel will provide an excellent boost for ExCeL in terms of providing high quality accommodation and complementing its exhibition and conference facilities.  It will also add a landmark building and new open spaces to the area.”
