Not All is Lost at Jones Lang LaSalle

England v Slovenia World Cup Charity Fundraising Reaches £2,000

London, 7th July 2010 – Jones Lang LaSalle staff in England have raised £2,000 for their corporate charity Help the Hospices following a World Cup fundraiser.  Staff donated £10 to be given the opportunity to watch England play their world cup qualifier match against Slovenia, leaving work at 2:45pm.

In addition to various departmental get-togethers for the sporting and charitable event, Jones Lang LaSalle hosted three client parties in Hanover Square in London’s West End.  Over 120 key clients of the firm enjoyed a South African “braai” in the sunshine before enjoying England’s one nil victory over Slovenia.

Andrew Hynard, Chairman of Jones Lang LaSalle England said: “What a fantastic fund raising opportunity this proved to be.  We had a terrific response from our colleagues, who were happy to watch the game and at the same time raise money for a good cause.  The atmosphere at our client world cup BBQ was really up-beat – not sure it would have been quite the same if we had been watching any of England’s other matches!”
