Jones Lang LaSalle appointed to sell former Staffordshire Police offices near Stafford

Birmingham, 21st July 2010 –The Birmingham office of Jones Lang LaSalle has been appointed by Staffordshire Police to sell the freehold interest of Crossfields, 35 Cannock Road, Baswich near Stafford.  The 1881 Victorian building formerly accommodated Staffordshire Police until their move to the new Force Headquarters in Stafford.

Crossfields comprises approximately 5,573 sq ft of commercial office space and is located on site of approximately 1.68 acres. The property, which fronts onto Cannock Road, is situated approximately five miles south east of Stafford town centre.

Jonathan Fear, Director of Office Agency in Jones Lang LaSalle’s Birmingham office, who is advising on the sale, said: “Currently used as offices, the building presents an ideal opportunity for refurbishment or redevelopment for a wide range of property uses, subject to planning, including continued use as offices or perhaps a children's nursery, medical and healthcare facilities, or conversion into residential uses.”
