Part of the InterPublic Group, DLKW Lowe is one of the world's leading advertising agencies. For 10 years, the agency had been based on Sloane Avenue in Chelsea but facing a lease expiry they wanted to explore other options that would better fit their industry's increasingly digitally focused world.
Having recently completed the purchase of a Shoreditch based digital agency, the time was right to explore emerging East London locations, where they would be better able to capture and retain some of London's top talent.
The JLL Unlimited team worked with DLKW Lowe to advise them on the media occupier trends across London and the cost profile and availability of upcoming buildings. We were then able to acquire 46,000 sq ft at C-Space, 45 City Road, in the heart of Tech City, prior to the completion of the building. This saved the client time and additionally meant some of the building works could be bespoked to their needs, helping them - as they would say - to create "Work that Works in the Real World.'
