  • To act as lead consultant on the development of a high calibre shopping centre from inception to scheme completion
  • To formulate and implement initial site assembly and prepare detailed leasing strategy
  • To liaise closely with numerous specialist teams within Jones Lang LaSalle to provide a ‘best-in-class’ service
Solutions
  • Negotiated the pre-let agreement to the anchor tenant, John Lewis Partnership, which incorporated the acquisition and provision of a temporary store
  • Sourced a joint venture partner and concluded detailed limited partnership documentation 
  • Liaised with the Council and key stakeholders to ensure all parties were kept informed
Results
  • Creation of a 450,000 sq ft City Centre scheme anchored by John Lewis, 52 retail units, 950 car parking spaces and a 500 space cycle park 
  • Complex, drawn out scheme spanning 11 years crystallised significant added value and development profit to the client
