HSBC lease renewal and restructure at Redcliff Quay, Bristol

HSBC Redcliff QuayRedcliff Quay is a 120,000 sq ft Grade A major office development in central Bristol. It occupies a prominent waterside location overlooking the Floating Harbour in Bristol’s main office core. The building is fully let with HSBC being the main tenant occupying 33,000 sq ft. Other tenants include Haseltine Lake and Helphire Group.

Jones Lang LaSalle actively manage the property on behalf of Standard Life in conjunction with their other investments in the south west providing comprehensive advice including all agency, rating, development, investment, rent review and lease renewal services.

The Bristol Lease Advisory team successfully agreed a new lease with HSBC for a term of five years with a 3 year break on their existing accommodation. 

Following a review of their occupational strategy HSBC agreed to restructure the renewed lease and remove the break clause, thus further improving Standard Life’s investment value.
