Scheme Building Surveying
Length 2 – 2.5 years (subject to previous experience)
Qualification MRICS

Scheme overview

This scheme will enable you to become a chartered building surveyor.

You will undertake the Building Surveying Assessment of Professional Competence (APC).

During your APC training you will undertake all your experience with the Building Construction team in our Building & Construction Group where you will achieve the appropriate breadth of experience to enable you to sit the APC Final Assessment.

Scheme Business Management
Length 2 – 2.5 years (subject to previous experience)
Qualification As appropriate

Undergraduate + Postgraduate – Merit

Scheme overview

This scheme will enable you to work in various areas of our business support lines.

You will gain a breadth of experience in three business support lines including Finance, Human Resources and Marketing

You will work alongside specialists in each area developing skills whilst gaining an insight into how a large business is managed and the vital role Business Support plays in implementing and achieving strategic goals and targets.

Scheme Commercial Property
Length 2 – 2.5 years (subject to previous experience)
Qualification MRICS

Scheme overview

This scheme will enable you to become a chartered surveyor and work in a range of business areas.

You will undertake the Commercial Property Assessment of Professional Competence (APC).

During your APC training you will have three seat rotations. Each rotation will ensure that you gain the appropriate breadth of experience to enable you to sit the APC Final Assessment.

Scheme Planning Consultant
Length 2 – 2.5 years (subject to previous experience)
Qualification MRTPI

This scheme will enable you to become a Planning Consultant.

You will undertake the RTPI Assessment of Professional Competence (APC).

During your APC training you will undertake all your experience with the Planning Team where you will achieve the appropriate breadth of experience to enable you to apply to become a member of the RTPI.

Scheme Project Management
Length 2 – 2.5 years (subject to previous experience)

Scheme Quantity Surveying
Length 2 – 2.5 years (subject to previous experience)

This scheme will enable you to become a chartered quantity surveyor.

You will undertake the Quantity Surveying Assessment of Professional Competence (APC).

During your APC training you will undertake all your experience with the Cost Management team in our Building & Construction Group where you will achieve the appropriate breadth of experience to enable you to sit the APC Final Assessment.

Scheme Real Estate Analyst
Length 2 years
Qualification As appropriate

Scheme overview

This scheme will enable you to work in the transactional side of our business, including Capital Markets and Corporate Finance, or within LaSalle Investment Management.

You will have the opportunity to complete the CFA Stage 1

During your training you will have two seat rotations, enabling you to gain a breadth of experience in financial modelling.

Choose this scheme if you
  • Have a keen interest in property, and want an alternative to becoming a chartered surveyor
  • Want to gain expertise in financial modelling
  • Want the opportunity to work with a variety of JLL business lines
Scheme Residential
Length 2 – 2.5 years (subject to previous experience)

Our Graduate Schemes

We offer a number of different opportunities for graduates and undergraduates. Whatever your degree or interests, there’s a scheme for you. JLL runs an annual summer internship intended for people wishing to take up a graduate role in September of the following year, as well as sandwich placements for students undertaking a RICS accredited degree. A new programme launched in 2016 that will also run again in 2017 is JLL First, a two day workshop for first year students interested in a career in Real Estate and Building Surveying.
