It's Not All Work

JLL Property Triathlon

Firmly established as one of the UK's top five largest triathlons and one of the most prestigious events in the real estate calendar, the JLL Property Triathlon welcomes more than 2,000 competitors to Eaton Dorney each year and has raised nearly £1.5 million for charity over the last decade. The event is open to anyone in the property industry and is a great way to get fit and make friends with colleagues of all ages across the company.

Sporting and Team events

JLL's sporting activities are renowned in the property industry and further afield.

In-house, many JLL colleagues regularly participate in our tennis and running clubs in addition to a programme of events involving squash, cricket, sailing, football, rugby, softball, netball and lawn bowls. Externally, JLL has a well-established athlete sponsorship programme – Team Pro JLL – which supports professional athletes on a three year cycle, helping them to achieve their next career goals. Athletes we have supported in recent years include Olympic bronze medallist sculler, Alan Campbell; triathlete, Helen Jenkins; and Olympic gold medal-winning cyclist, Geraint Thomas MBE.

At JLL we place a strong emphasis on supporting charities and our local communities. As a result we have a very busy calendar of events ranging from marathons, treks and mountain climbs to swimathons, abseiling and triathlons. Recently, over 50 JLL volunteers helped out at its National Charity Partner, Starlight's, summer party. Over 770 children battling serious and terminal illnesses and their families attended the event which provided them with a day away from hospital, treatment and doctors' appointments and enabled them to enjoy a fun filled day of laughter in a beautiful setting. JLL has raised over £0.5 million over the past couple of years through similar fundraising events and activities for Starlight.

Charity fundraising events

Fundraising for charity is at the heart of JLL's social calendar. Our annual National Charity Partner - carefully selected from hundreds of applications - benefits from an array of activities organised by staff across the firm's UK offices. Funds are raised through our signature annual events including the JLL Property Triathlon, the JLL Property 5k, Ride London-Surrey 100 and the Virgin London Marathon. In addition to these events, JLL teams organise regular social activities including sporting challenges, bake-off days, book sales and quiz nights to name but a few.

Diversity, Inclusion & Equality

At JLL, we know that diversity drives innovation, creativity and results in the kind of culture that attracts the best talent and the best clients. We are committed to equality and JLL enjoys an active social calendar to ensure that inclusivity becomes a core part of our culture. We were the first real estate firm to register and participate in the Pride in London Parade and have also raised money for The Albert Kennedy Trust. We are also a founder member of Changing the Face of Property and our association with third party organisations such as Stonewall, Business in the Community and the Business Disability Forum are an essential part of our Diversity and Inclusion strategy.

JLL Choir

Formed in 2014, the JLL Choir has performed a varied repertoire at high profile venues such as the Royal Academy and the Banking Hall whilst keeping itself grounded by holding regular rehearsals in the basement of a pub!  The choir recently made its debut appearance at Grosvenor's Got Talent in front of a delighted crowd of supporters from the property industry.  The choir has also enjoyed collaborations with the Orpheus Sinfonia at St George's Hanover Square and was delighted to return to the Voices of London Festival for the third year running in July, this time under the baton of our Musical Director, Richard Harker.

The JLL Choir comprises staff from across the UK business, united in their love of singing and red accessories!
