CAD/GIS Mapping Operator, Gloucester

Bruton Knowles is seeking a CAD operator with good experience of GIS Mapping and background databases to collate property information and produce plans for for infrastructure projects.
As a market leader in the Utilities and Transport sectors, Bruton Knowles is involved in successfully winning contracts to deliver all property related services, particularly in major infrastructure projects.
These projects relate to power lines, pipelines, road and rail networks. Applicants should have experience in working with AutoCAD LT and AutoCAD Map 3D, preferably in a commercial environment as well as the ability to modify Ordnance Survey Data using CAD to a high level of accuracy. A good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, in particular, Access (and it's linkage to Map 3D) and Excel is essential with a knowledge of SQL being preferable.
The role will also include visiting property and site to establish land ownership details and may also include an administrative element of producing documentation using this data. Furthermore, the successful applicant will be required to assist in developing CAD databases in our web based project management system and to train staff on enhancements to the system.
